Reviews
Genius description of the founding of Switzerland in 1291. The stage is sold built with authentic buildings from around Switzerland.
Absolutely fantastic experience. The amount of animals and actors involved was astonishing.
Fantastic staging of Schiller's Wilhelm Tell play in an open air theater (with weather protection for the audience). Enjoy one of the most important origins of democracy and legal security in the heart of Switzerland. The play is partly in German and in Swiss German but even with language difficulties you will be able to grasp the meaning of it due to the very visual orchestration with more than 100 actors (mostly laypersons), horses, cows, and good action.
Unforgettable play also for non-German speaking visitors as myself (American).
The natural stage, the over 200 performing artists, the live-animals I can
hardly recommend it as a superb entertainment during my trip to Interlaken.
Switzerland at its best!
Even though I didn't understand the actors because the production is in German this was a very impressive outdoor play. It is possible to get a summary of the play in several languages and I found this to be enough. I highly recommend this if you visit Interlaken in the summer.
The most impressive outdoor theater you'll ever see. The scenario is a village from 1291, real cows, horses, goats and dogs are also part of this Fridrich Schiller play, about the foundation of Switzerland.
Nice play. Excellent riding scenes. They had sound problems today, however.
Tell Opera was great. I strongly can recommend it
